We have a selection of reviews on tripadvisor but please find below the lovely comments from some visitors who have enjoyed staying in our cottage over the past year:

“We have found the cottage all we could wish for – quiet, private and in a beautiful setting.  We appreciated the comfort and solitude of this ancient cottage.  Big thank you to Fraser and Sheena for our stay at Fernbank.” May 2017

“Thank you for another peaceful and restful holiday.  Our fourth visit, just love it here.  Fantastic surroundings. Thank you for the lovely wine etc, a lovely greeting.” June 2017

“Yet another and relaxing visit to this wonderful, comfortable cottage.  A real home from home.  Lots of visits to favourite places, including a yummy afternoon tea at the Black Watch Museum.  Also lots of ‘downtime’, sitting in the garden reading and sketching.  Big thank you to Fraser, Sheena and Pam.” July 2017

“Helpful, hospitable from first contact and throughout our stay.  Lovely old cottage in peaceful village with lots to explore in the area.  We’ll be back.  Many thanks Fraser, Sheena and Pam.” August 2017

“Beautiful location, charming cottage, plenty of days out nearby.  We really enjoyed our stay.  The kids enjoyed jumping over the burn.  We enjoyed relaxing in the garden after our days out and about.  Friendly place to stay, very hospitable, thanks very much.  We look forward to returning in the future.” August 2017

“We have loved our stay in this great little cottage.  Perfect break away in such a peaceful village.  Thanks for letting us stay at such short notice.  Great walks to wear out the dogs (and us).  Thanks again.” August 2017

“Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage.  Very relaxing, quiet and beautiful place to be. we had everything we needed in the cottage.  Thanks again and see you soon.” September 2017

“What can we say – we were here last year and had to come back!  We are going home relaxed and refreshed.  It’s wonderful, our family came to visit and didn’t want to go home.  A hit with us all.” October 2017

“Back again! Wonderfully cosy as always, home from home.  Many days out – Cairn O’Mohr Winery and Tour (don’t drive afterwards!) Enchanted Forest Pitlochry, Dark Dundee Ghost Walk (you have to do this) Highland Wildlife Park to see baby red pandas, Aberdeen and Scone Palace.  Looking forward to August 2018 when we return for Runrig’s last ever gig at Stirling.  Lots of love.” October 2017

“Back again for our fifth stay at this comfy and cosy cottage.  Chilling out before the Christmas fiasco!  Weather not brilliant but if you holiday in Scotland can’t expect much at this time of year.  This didn’t spoil our wonderful time at Fernbank and with hosts like Sheena and Fraser “who could ask for anything more” as the song says.  Lazy days, relaxing, reading and at a bit of TV – ahh heaven.  Thank you so much for the hostess tray, lovely.  See you next spring.” November 2017

“We have had a lovely time.  The cottage was a lovely surprise and very warm and toasty, especially as it has been very cold.  It has everything that we needed.  Would love to come back again during warmer times.  Have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.” November 2017
